Job title: Principal Mechanical Project Enineer

Job description: Perform engineering duties in planning and designing customize casing to house electronic components for geo-imaging and data-imaging solutions; study and define business requirements and project scope; estimate costs; create drawings of products; develop 3D models; produce prototypes; develop test plans to ensure product conforms to design; coordinate with test labs to execute testing activities; compile and analyze test results; develop reports of results; analyze models for failures and high stress regions; establish quality control, inspection methods, and documents according to ISO standards; plan and coordinate product development; explain product requirements to suppliers; work with global suppliers to establish product costs, manufacturing tooling, and supply chain; and resolve production issues.

Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study and three years of product design experience.

Skills: Product design from concept to production; finite element analysis; finite element software Cosmosworks/Ansys; and computer-aided design (CAD) software Pro-E/AutoCAD/Solidworks.
