Why are my photos from the camera not getting uploaded to FotoSpot-W100/FotoMapr-W100?
The camera should have an Eye-Fi card to transmit pictures. Please make sure that the camera has an Eye-Fi card in the SD card slot.
My camera doesn’t transmit pictures even though I have an Eye-Fi card. Why?
The Eye-Fi card has to be paired with the respective FotoSpot-W100/FotoMapr-W100. The Eye-Fi card that comes with the package FotoSpot-W100 would have been paired unless you had a Eye-Fi card already in which case it needs to follow the pairing procedure as shown here.
Why am I not getting a GPS fix with my FotoSpot-W100/FotoSpot-B100/FotoSpot-C100/FotoMapr-W100/FotoMapr-B100/FotoMapr-C100?
The FotoSpot unit has to be in the open sky to get a fix. Please make sure that you are outside the building to get a fix.
My compass doesn’t show the correct direction. What do I do?
The compass direction has to be calibrated to show correct direction. The compass calibration routine is shown here.

The Bluetooth Dongle has to be paired to the FotoSpot-B100/FotoMapr-B100. The Bluetooth Dongle that comes with the FotoSpot-B100/FotoMapr-B100 package will already be paired.
How often does FotoMapr-B100 transmit latitude longitude and directional information to the Bluetooth Dongle?
FotoMapr-B100 transmits latitude, longitude and directional information every few seconds approximately once in 3 seconds.
What is the purpose of a Bluetooth Dongle?
Bluetooth Dongle gives bluetooth connectivity to the camera and is needed to receive GPS data from FotoMapr-B100 and will then transfer them to the camera which eventually would be used to geotag images.

Can I geotag Raw files in any of these units?
No, we can only geotag JPEG and TIF files.
What is MySnapMap application ?
This is a map centric software best suited to work with FotoSpot(all variations) and FotoMapr(all variations). This application enables users to accurately mark geotagged images on mapping applications like Google Earth, Bing. This also has the advanced capability of reverse geotagging and of marking images on the GPS track based on the time stamp of the images. In addition to this it has various image editing capabilities like Watermarking, imprinting etc.
